  • DUIs with serious bodily injury are Level 6 felonies—or Level 5 felonies if a prior conviction involved serious injuries or there was a passenger younger than eighteen.

If you are convicted of a DUI in Indiana, you could face the following consequences:

  • The first offense will result in fines, jail for up to one year, possible probation, license suspension for up to two years, and required substance abuse treatment.

  • The second offense could result in between five days and three years behind bars, license suspension for up to two years, a fine of up to $10,000, possible probation, and substance abuse treatment.
